Eric Rhoads, Publisher and Founder of Fine Art Connoisseur (and PleinAir) is deeply involved in the art community, hosting art conventions and events, trips, and creating professional development opportunities for artists. Rhoads has been a leader in the publishing industry for more than 25 years and is chairman of the board for Streamline Publishing, Inc., a company he founded in 1986. In addition, Eric has spent over 40 years in the radio broadcasting field. He also serves as a consultant and adviser to companies in media, technology, digital media, and art. He has helped thousands of artists develop their art careers with his art marketing sessions (which he will be doing at the convention). He is the Author of How to Make Money Selling Your Art, which became an Amazon Best Seller within weeks of its release.
Streamline launched its first art magazine in 2006 and today publishes Fine Art Connoisseur and PleinAir magazines. Additionally, Streamline publishes the popular PleinAir Today, Fine Art Today, American Watercolor digital newsletters. In addition the “FACE” the company produces the annual Plein Air Convention & Expo. Each year, Rhoads hosts the Publisher’s Invitational, Fall Color Week, an annual collectors Fine Art Trip, and the PleinAir Salon art competition. The company’s video division, Streamline Art Video, produces “how to” videos for artists and continues to release the ongoing, best-selling Eric Rhoads’ Art Marketing Boot Camp series.
